1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Pocket Arcade Studio ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use Element Diary, including its store-listed versions such as "Element Diary: AlchemyMix Game" (the "App").

The App stores information locally and uses Google services for Play Games sign-in, cloud saving, advertisements, and purchases. We do not operate a separate developer account system or our own game-save server.

2. Local Gameplay and Settings

The App stores gameplay data on your device, including discovered elements, board arrangements, diary decorations, sticker inventory, revealed hints and hint credits, attendance and reward records, and tutorial completion.

It also stores app preferences, purchase-entitlement status, synchronization information, and recent support error information locally. These records support gameplay, settings, purchase access, synchronization, and troubleshooting.

Your device's operating system may back up and restore app data according to your device and account settings. This is separate from the App's Google Play Games cloud saving.

3. Google Play Games Sign-In

The App uses Google Play Games Services to authenticate players and connect saved progress to the correct account. It receives the Play Games player ID and display name. The player ID is also stored locally to prevent progress from being synchronized under an unexpected account.

Google manages your Google account, Play Games profile, and sign-in process. The App does not request your Google password. Its Play Games and app-data permissions do not give it general access to your Gmail messages, contacts, or ordinary Google Drive documents.

You can manage Play Games sign-in, profile visibility, and account connections through Google's account and Play Games settings.

4. Cloud Game Data

When Play Games sign-in and cloud synchronization are available, supported progress is uploaded to and restored from Google Play Games Saved Games. This includes discoveries, board and decoration layouts, stickers, hint records, attendance rewards, tutorial state, and information used to coordinate saves between devices, such as timestamps and save identifiers.

Cloud saving can run automatically in the background or through the App's cloud-save controls. We use this data to preserve progress, restore supported records, and reconcile saves. Purchase ownership, payment details, support error reports, and general app preferences are not included in the gameplay cloud-save payload.

Google hosts and processes this cloud data. We do not maintain a separate copy on a developer-operated server. Synchronization may be delayed or unavailable, and a local save does not necessarily mean the latest changes have reached Google's servers.

5. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to deliver advertisements, including rewarded ads.

The advertising SDK processes information such as IP addresses, device or advertising identifiers, interactions with the app or advertisements, and diagnostic information. IP addresses can be used to estimate a general location. These data support ad delivery, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention.

The information processed depends on the SDK configuration, applicable consent choices, and device settings. You can manage available advertising privacy choices through the App's privacy controls, where offered, and Google's or Android's settings. Non-personalized or limited ads can still involve data processing needed to deliver and protect the service.

6. Purchases and Pro Access

Google Play Billing handles purchases. The App processes product and purchase-status information, including information provided by Google Play to complete, acknowledge, verify, or restore Pro access. It stores the entitlement status locally.

Google handles payment credentials and transaction records. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Purchase access depends on the Google Play account used for the purchase and is separate from your Play Games cloud progress.

7. Diagnostics and Support

The App stores recent cloud-save and purchase error reports locally. These reports contain limited technical information such as an error code, operation stage, time, app version, Android version, and relevant service status.

These support reports exclude Google account email addresses, player IDs, display names, passwords, purchase receipts or tokens, and saved gameplay contents. They are not automatically sent to us. You can choose to copy a report to the clipboard and share it with us.

If you contact us, we receive the email address, message, attachments, and other information you choose to provide. We use this information to respond and investigate your request. The email or other service you use to contact us also processes that communication under its own policies.

Google Play Games and advertising SDKs separately collect operational analytics and diagnostics for their services. This is distinct from the App's locally stored support reports. The current App does not include a separate Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics integration.

8. How Information Is Used and Shared

Information is used to operate the game, maintain and restore progress, protect account-to-save consistency, deliver advertisements and rewards, process purchases, and respond to support requests.

Google processes information needed for its Play Games, Saved Games, advertising, and billing services under its own terms and privacy policy. Information you choose to send to us is also processed by the communication providers involved. We may disclose information we hold if required by law or to protect legal rights and service security.

We do not sell your saved gameplay records or support correspondence. Advertising-related data processing is described in Section 5.

9. Storage and Retention

Local information remains on your device until it is replaced, reset, or removed through the App or device controls. Recent error information can be replaced by later reports.

Cloud saves remain with Google until replaced or removed through the relevant game-data controls, subject to Google's retention practices. Device backups are governed by the backup provider and your settings.

We retain support correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to handle the request, related follow-up, and applicable legal obligations. Google's retention of billing, advertising, account, and service records is governed by Google's policies.

10. Your Choices and Data Deletion

You can:

- Use the App's reset control to reset gameplay progress. This preserves app settings and Pro access. A reset can be synchronized to the cloud; it is not a request to delete your Google account or all Google service records.

- Clear the App's storage through Android settings to remove local records. Clearing only the cache does not remove all saved data.

- Manage or delete Element Diary's Play Games data through your Google Play Games profile settings. Google's current instructions are available at https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/9130646.

- Manage the App's connection to your Google account through Google's account settings. Removing access and deleting existing stored data are separate actions.

- Contact us about access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have sent directly to us.

Uninstalling the App does not necessarily delete Google-hosted saves, device backups, purchase records, or support correspondence. Reinstalling or reconnecting can restore data. Continuing to use and synchronize the App after deleting cloud data can create a new cloud save from remaining local progress.

Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, obtain a copy of your information, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. Contact us regarding information we handle directly; use Google's controls for information held in your Google account.

11. Security and International Processing

The Google services used for cloud saving and advertising encrypt their service data in transit. Local records rely on Android's application-storage protections. No storage or transmission method can guarantee complete security.

Google and communication providers may process information in countries other than your own under their applicable privacy policies and safeguards.

12. Children's Privacy

The App is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.

Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of Google accounts, advertisements, purchases, and support communications. Applicable age and consent requirements may vary by location.

13. Third-Party Policies

Google's Privacy Policy applies to the Google services discussed above:

https://policies.google.com/privacy

You can also review Google's Play Games and advertising privacy settings for controls associated with your account and device.

14. Changes to This Policy

We will update the date above when this policy changes. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before materially changing how information is handled.
